As part of the Buy a Bale initiative, Sensis recently donated a much-needed truck-load of hay to farmers in and around central western New South Wales.
Delivered to a property in Coolah, the Yellow and White Pages branded truck was part of the second largest hay drop of 2018, organised by the Rural Aid team behind Buy a Bale.
The load of hay was donated as part of a Sensis-wide initiative back in August, which sought to raise $5,700 in support the local farmers suffering through drought conditions.
Sensis CEO, John Allan, said he felt it was important for Sensis to support Rural Aid in its nation-wide drought initiative.
“Sensis has held long-standing relationships with rural and regional communities across Australia, specifically through our White Pages and Yellow brands, so Buy a Bale made perfect sense to us,” Mr Allan said.
“The leadership team and I are beyond proud of all employees who jumped on board and donated to the cause through the Skip app, to help reach our goal of a truck load of hay in just under two weeks.”
“Sensis is committed to continue to work with the local communities and our Australian farmers.”
